On Janice's last day at Banjika during her 2007 trip the whole student body gathered to express their appreciation. Following is the text of their message - verbatim:

We have learned many thing. Most of us we are very joyfull to know how to use computer. We saw computer in Magazine, TV, Newspaper but you are the on who showned us what what is computer. We enjoyed all the program you tough us and the data which you recorded. Its real appreciation. We have nothing to give you but we keep in our memory what you did to us. God bless you in whatever you pursue

A Short Report to Thank Madam Janice Lathen About Computer Installation
On behalf of the Headmaster I would like to thank you very much Madam Janice for installing the solar power and five computers to our school.
In fact you have made our School to be a Modern School and for coming and your effort it makes the students to attend the school without missing because of the Computer, We can say that you have motivated the teachers and students to love the School.
Also we thank you very much for helping the bicycles to the students who come furthest in fact the students enjoy the bicycles which contributed much for them to come to the School early without late hence they get more time to study rather than wasting much time on walking on foot, For that we are saying thankful for your hospitality.
Also we express our sincere thanks for connecting the Computer to internet, We hope the teachers will use it to find more relevant and updated material for the students.
Dear Madam, for the coming years our school will be registered to have 10 subjects among of them will be Computer Study this is because of you.
